Issue initializing window for opengl

Hello, I am having a bit of an issue initializing a window for use with opengl. I followed several tutorials online and had orignally had a working gl window but after refactoring some code I am unable to get the window working again and I am not sure where the problem lies. The problem that I am seeing is two things. 1) When the program launches, it creates the window and shows the borders but has the busy cursor and I am never able to interact with it. 2) It seems like my WndProc function is being called immediatly after I create my window. This causes problems because my gl window isn't setup yet. Any ideas or hits as to what I might check?
