Rounded corners

I want to make my corners rounded on this, but retain my texture alignment, just nicking the corners off the textures. any help? glBegin(GL_QUADS); glTexCoord2f(0, 1); glVertex2f(-1, 1.5); glTexCoord2f(1, 1); glVertex2f(1, 1.5); glTexCoord2f(1, 0); glVertex2f(1, -1.5); glTexCoord2f(0, 0); glVertex2f(-1, -1.5); glEnd();

Something I might try would be to check out NeHe''s masking tutorial, and make an alpha texture with the corners blacked out. I haven''t tried it yet, but this way you''re final quad wont have it''s corners...

if i did that, wouldnt there be a black spot on all the corners, sure you wouldnt see it normally, but when the corner overlays something, wouldnt you still be able to see the defined corner?

Not if you blend it correctly.

thats glBlendFunc() with some mad parameter, if you don''t have an alpha channel try GL_SRC_COLOR, GL_ONE. Otherwise work out the alpha combo. I forget, or I''m just not very good.
