Umm...Windows programming takes more understanding than a "Hello World" console program. I don''t mean to burst your bubble, but give yourself six months to a year to understand C++ before trying to program Windows with it. I don''t mean this to sound inconsiderate, but you just wrote your first "Hello World" program. Give yourself sometime to learn the basics before trying to run out and program Quake 4. Hell, I have been programming for a year and the only game I have ever finished is tetris. Don''t get ahead of yourself.

It''s good finally to see some more people who know what they''re talking about.
Hey, I only posted what I have observed. I have both compilers, and when you compile a console program in MSVC++ it comes up in a dos prompt, when I use the borland compiler, it doesn''t, it comes up in a completely different window, it acts the same, but it certainly isn''t dos.
If at first you don't succeed, redefine success.
