Hi!!

I'm looking for some free or inexpensive 2D bitmap manipulation libraries for Windows. I'm using MFC, but don't want any DirectX code in it. I want it to be easily portable to Linux also. Need some functions to do rotating, scaling, palette management, and brightness, contrast control.

Thanks!!!

There are alot of alternatives to DirectX. Like Glide/OpenGL...etc..etc.. all free stuff. If you are planning on porting it to linux then why would you use MFC?
