ID3DXBaseMesh

how do you convert an ID3DXMesh to an ID3DXBaseMesh ? I want to use the D3DXIntersect function, but it requires a base mesh. (if anybody has any code for D3DXIntersect PPLLEEAASEE post it by the way) I dont see any functions in the SDK (yet) that do this. if anybody has any info on these types of meshes, please let me know thanks

I believe that ID3DXBaseMesh is the base class for ID3DXMesh, therefore you may use D3DXIntersect with ID3DXMesh, because it is-a ID3DXBaseMesh.
