This chromakey effect used to work very well under Glide, but I don''t think it exists in OpenGL, you have to use a seperate alphachannel instead. This has the advantage of a nice smooth blend at the borders, but eats up more RAM and is not so straightforward to implement.
If I''m wrong, and there actually is a chromakey function in OpenGL, I would be very interested to know about it !
