I just installed Visual C++ Express and the Platform SDK. I also followed the Microsoft directions for setting VC++ to use it, and when that didn't work I ran the script I found here. My problem is that when I try to compile a win32 app, I get an error saying that I don't have windows.h. I thought this was installed with the SDK. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Check and make sure the compiler is including the Windows SDK directory when it looks for header files. You can find this in tools->options->projects and solutions->VC++ directories. Change the "Show directories for" to "include files", and make sure the folder containing the platform SDK headers are included in the list. (Should be in program files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\V6.0\Include)
