Hi I've just started looking into shaders, however to run I need libCg.so, but am unsure where to find this. I'm using linux so have used apt-get with no luck, have checked opengl and nvidia homepages with no luck. Can someone point me in the right direction of where to get this or where to get the package for shaders. Thanks. :)

Linux doesn't have apt-get. Linux is a kernel, apt-get is a Debian utility, although it's been ported to some other distributions (eg Fedora). Which distribution are you using? On Debian-based systems (eg Ubuntu) and of course Debian itself, the nvidia-cg-toolkit package is what you're after. On this Debian system, it's in "contrib", what Ubuntu probably calls "Universe" or "Multiverse".

Alternatively, you can install the software found at the address given by madRenEGadE, but you it won't be updated automatically when you update your GNU/Linux system, and it could conflict with the files installed by the package manager. Unless you know what you're doing, I'd suggest using apt-get.

Hope this helps.
