I'm not sure how difficult this, but I'd love to have the console available so I can use it for testing and debugging purposes. [Edited by - Side Winder on September 16, 2007 10:29:34 AM]

Hey there, the following code will get a console window up for you and allows you to use it as normal with calls to printf(), etc

#include <cstdio>
#include <iostream>
#include <fcntl.h>
#include <io.h>

int hCrt;
FILE *hf;

hCrt = _open_osfhandle((long)GetStdHandle(STD_OUTPUT_HANDLE),_O_TEXT);
hf = _fdopen( hCrt, "w" );
*stdout = *hf;
int i = setvbuf( stdout, NULL, _IONBF, 0 );

EDIT: i forgot to ask, which language are you using cause the above source is c++
