Source control question

Hi. I'm running a perforce server at home for my personnal programming projects. Everything worked fine until I started working on my projects at work during lunch-time. Due to firewall/security issues, I can't connect to my home perforce server from work, so it's a pain in the ass to integrate changes done at both places. Anyone has tips or strategies to share? I don't care changing my source-control software, the only thing that I need is to keep history of my changes. Thanks! JF

IIRC Subversion has a protocol that works on top of regular http, which would probably be allowed through the firewall unless it's really restrictive. Might be worth seeing if Perforce has a similar option.
