Collision Detection Help

Hi everyone, need some help. Does anyone know of any methods that they could describe to me, or tutorials that I could be pointed to, that implements collision detection for a character on an arbitrarily shaped level. An example is like ramps and other uneven 'platform' type things. Here's an example of what I want to mess with: http://games.softpedia.com/screenshots/2-426_1.jpg Anyone got any ideas? Cheers, Nick

In a similar recent topic I recommended the N Tutorials -- Basic Collision Detection and Response and Grid-Based Collision Detection and Raycasting -- they may give you some good ideas as well.
