Allegro lib...

Is there any other libary than allegro, about the same capabilties? And rather compatible with the more standard compiles ea msc++ and borland.

You could give CDX a try ''http://cdx.sourceforge.net''. CDX is really a DX wrapper offering some of the functionality found within allegro. Compatible with msc++ ( and borland with a bit of hassle ) CDX has not been around as long as allegro so is not as mature GDK, but it does have a very active development community ( Yahoo Groups cdx and cdx-games ).
