problem with shadowmap UVs

Hi all, i''ve got a problem with my shadow maps. when i apply the texture to just one surface, things are ok. however, when i attempt to apply the texture to more than one surface, ie a corner where two walls meet, then the texture becomes severely warped/stretched, but usually on just one wall. this obviously appears to be a result of calculating the UV''s incorrectly, but i can''t find the bug. i''m currently generating the UVs by applying a projection matrix to each vertex of every receiver polygon, which is only four polygons. the shadow map is generated with just one light source/blocker object pair. that''s it, any advice would be great, thanks!
