Hello.I have a problem.I created a simple mesh with a 3D modeler. The mesh is formed from 2 cylinders that are positioned like a close button ("X").I loading that mesh in my application: 1 - Load Mesh 2- Set Material Alpha Color to 0.5f (to be transparent) 3 - Draw Mesh. The problem is that the place where the cylinders intersect (center) the transparency level is not the same. There are 2 sets of triangle that are in the center (from the 1st and from the 2nd cylinder). Is there a solution for this in directx? Thanks..

Dont model the model that way. Connect the cylinders properly in your 3d application. In 3dsmax for example(and many 3D modeling apps), you can do an union boolean operation or you can also do it by hand since boolean operations usually bring some errors or undesired effects like useless vertices.
