Hi everyone, I wondering what should I start with .I've would like to create RPG or a strategy. I'm intrested in engine that is not too complicated for learning and I would like to create a good game for 5-6 months. I program in C/C++, Visual Basic and in C#. Thanks for your answers

learn opengl(I learned from nehe.gamedev.net) Then, program pong without a tutorial! Build off of your pong until it is really good. Then, go from there.

If you already know C#, then I am going to suggest going with XNA. It is pretty easy, has good support and all the power you are going to need.

Thnaks people, I couldn't make up my mind between Ogre and XNA but if XNA is good I'll take it
