polygons in directx

hi how to dark the edges of the polygons in 3d model. its not wireframe, its should be solid fill but i have to show the edges in thick pls help me.

if you're after a 'toon shade' hack for those dark edges:
- duplicate model
- scale along vertex normals by desired amount (edge 'thickness')
- invert the mesh
- shade with a single outline color of choice.

it's a neat hack, though you may get better results with pixel shaders
