Can anyone confirm if glBlitFramebufferEXT is not supported on ATI cards (Radeon 9700 and higher). im getting access violations when calling glBlitFramebufferEXT. (0x00000000) glewGetExtension("GL_EXT_framebuffer_blit") returns false.

I'm working on a dell laptop and the drivers are from 14-September-2005 while the extension was completed on 8-November-2005. So i hope i can get it with a new driver.

Damn dell and ATI why aren't they using 1 driver package for all card's. I cant find a new driver. damn them to hell

this cant be true. What other possibilities are their to copy framebuffers (fast)?

Search for "omega driver". At least you'll get the benifits of bug fixes.
No, GL_EXT_framebuffer_blit is not supported.
Render it as a texture quad. It's easy.
