I'm trying to compile some examples that have this included #include <GL/glut.h> I'm sure I have that library installed, but still I get this error when compiling /home/lju2/fax/opengl/lesson1/src/lesson1.cpp:88: undefined reference to `glutSwapBuffers' I get lot of this, for every function that I want to use.đ I've read on this forum that I need to add some flags for linking glu, so I added this under linker flags: -lopengl32 -lglu32 -lglut and then I get "compiler can't create executables" which is obviously untrue, because when I remove that flags, non-glu programs compile just fine. Any idea? I'm really desperate

I just use -lGL and -lGLU to build OpenGL stuff under Linux. I don't currently use GLUT myself, but I believe -lglut is correct for that. The opengl32 and glu32 links you saw were probably from people building on Windows.
