I'm loving Lua, but I'm getting pretty bored of playing with it on the command line. I'd like to see my Lua moving things around the screen, make them interact and do cool stuff. Basically, I want to use Lua to create object behaviours, agent AI, and all those good things, but I don't want to great a graphics engine, draw objects etc etc. Can anyone recommend any free or trial game engines or mods for existing games that allow me to plug in some lua? Your help is greatly appreciated...

Ahh, the heady days of Nethack. I spent many hours in those ascii dungeons, eating kobolds etc. Classic game.
