This is driving me crazy... I need to export .X files with animation from 3ds Max... and it isn't working. I'm using the Skin modifier. Basically the animation seems to export with only the first and last frame (or something) and many of the vertices aren't weighted correctly... This is happening with a very simple object using 5 bones. What settings do I need to use? Are there any tutorials on exporting with Panda exporter for Max 7 or something? I'm having a lot of trouble. Thanks EDIT: Okay... got it working... I guess that (this version of?) the exporter doesn't export the skin weights correctly if "optimize" mode is on. So turning it to no optimization fixed the problem (a little annoying but I'm converting it to binary anyways so it doesn't matter). [Edited by - Gumgo on October 3, 2007 4:32:05 PM]
