Hi, I am new to game programming and I have chosen to learn OpenGL.However it has no importers for models and ect. Can someone suggest me which model file format is the best for simple 3d games(keep in mind that I use blender3d as a modeler app.).Also I would like some tutorials about the file format you suggest and how to write an importer for it in opengl and c++. My first thought was to start with md2 as I have heard that it is quite simple. Anyway, please post your suggestons and tutorials ...

Yep. MD2 is a very good start. It's file format is very simple, there are plenty of models around, as well as source code to help you if you get stuck...
