OpenGL OpenGL Window Resolution

How can i set the Window Resolution for use in the coord-system? I found a function that set the window Width and Height, but the coord X and Y values are too small something about -90 to 90. I would like to set for 640 x 480. Thx Krich

I understand the glViewPort as a function to select an area of the window. If the window has a resolution of 100 x 100 the glViewPort will only select inside this 100 x 100.

Am i wrong?
