Ok, this is a program out of a book I purchased... the source code for this particular program was on the cd. I fired it up in VC 2005 Exp. Ed., and I got this error: Linking... LINK : fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file 'd3d9.lib' Build log was saved at "file://c:\Users\Ethan\C++ Stuff\sources\chapter07\anim_sprite\Debug\BuildLog.htm" anim_sprite - 1 error(s), 0 warning(s) ========== Build: 0 succeeded, 1 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped ========== So, is there a bunch of code I should include for forums people, so it is easier to see where I screwed up? I don't thik it is in the code, but I have no clue. Any help is graciously accepted. Thanks!

I believe so... I'll check something really quick, but I'm pretty sure it is installed right. Do you want to see code, or would that not help?
