hello, I wrote an animation using Borland C++Builder, and now I would like to produce an avi file from it. How do I make this kind of conversion?

easiest way would be a program like FRAPS (google = friend) that just records the output of applications.

another route would be to find a video API and just route your framebuffer to the video API and make the movie.

depends on whether you want easy to use or just want the technical challenge of it all.

You could also have your program take a screenshot of your animation each frame and save that to the harddrive. Then, you can link the images into a movie using VirtualDUB or other software.

thanks, I will check this FRAPS, but in the future i would like to know how to do it inside my program?
Where do I find information about this video API?
and linking screenshots hmm, I have done this before and the movie is unfortunatelly jumping, so I think I will try the first option first, but thanks :)

hey!
I did check this FRAPS. It is great! I am just not very happy with the resolution. Can I increase it somehow?
