[.net] untransformed triangle(XNA)

Hey guys, I have just barely started with XNA and I've already run into a little snag. I am following Riemers' tutorial and I am on the one where you draw a triangle with untransformed vertices via the "Colored" technique in the supplied .fx file. When I used the pretransformed technique with pretransformed vertices it worked perfectly but the untransformed way throws an InvalidOperationException on the call to DrawUserPrimitives() and I can't see to figure out why. The code i exactly as on Riemers' site, so I don't feel I need to post it, but here is a link to the code if you need to look at it. Thanks for the help.
