Hi, I have got confused with some problem. can any one help me out? I want to display a picture in linux text mode. But before drawing to framebuffer, there's a lot of computations for every pixel, and independently. I want to make use of GPU acceleration feature(Gefore 7300). How can I use the pixel shader in linux text mode? Any help is appreciated!

That's not possible. You need to have an X11 server running to use OpenGL.

The only thing you could use for that stuff is CUDA, but it doesn't work on GeForce 7 hardware and I don't know if it would need an X11 server too.
