Hello.. I want to define a key color.. with key color I define a color with 3 bytes and if I use alpha channel I need 4 bytes.. This is the principal reason when i use a key color and not alpha channel.. I'm in a mistake? and How define a key color?

You can't; at least not without using shaders to emulate it. Colour keying hasn't existed in hardware for a very long time now and the extensions which existed to support it in OpenGL havent been in the drivers for some time.

IIRC, graphics cards tend to pad 24-bit textures out to be 32-bit textures, so that's not a good reason.
