OpenGL HLSL CgFX in OpenGL

I am looking at using Nvidia's CgFX as a shader library for an OpenGL project. Many shaders that I wish to use seem to be written in HLSL. Other than that they seem to be normal fx files. Cg and HLSL seem to be virtually the same thing anyway. I am guessing that I can use FX files with HLSL code on top of CgFX with an OpenGL backend, but I am not entirely sure. Anyone know if this is possible?

D3D FX effects for the most part work just fine in Cg. FX support has improved by a large amount in the past year.

Try it out and see how it works. If you have any problems, report them on the Cg forum at developer.nvidia.com/forums.
