FPS arms polycount nextgen

Hi guys, im working on a mod for crysis, and i was wondering what was the approx. polycount on the player arms only. Ive been playing to Crysis demo, and the arms seems to have a lot polys. If anyone has an idea, it would be very useful. I know crysis weapons are 6k when your character hold em, so the arms should be what 4k, plus a normal map?, so that would do 10k directly in front of you.??? also for those who wants to know the approx crytek team specs for crysis http://features.moddb.com/295/crytek-modding/ very useful specs.
