I cannot find any 2d custom legal sprites for the life of me. Do any of you know where to find such sprites. I do not mean places like "The people's sprites" or "GSA", those aren't custom, those are rip offs of existing characters. I'm looking for the side scrolling/2d equivalent of reiner's tilesets. I know only of spritelab and molotov.nu, which are great, but not for a side scroller. Thanks -dmwalles

You do realize that the word custom infers made-to-order (according to the specifications of the individual)? How can you have made-to-order, generic sprites? That's probably why you're having a hard time finding sprites.

Try searching for "original" instead.
