I want to ask if the glDrawPixels command can take TextureObjects instead of an array of image data loaded from a bitmap file? In my program, I'm using glDrawPixels for 2D rendering while I take advantage of OpenGL's TextureObject for texture mapping. I want to take advantage of TextureObject as well in 2D rendering so I really don't have to keep a bitmap copy in the memory. Any suggestions?
