Visual studio 2005 and 2008 on the same computer

Hi Do you know if it's possible to use both versions of Visual Studio 2005 & 2008 on the same computer without troubles ? Thx

I'm not exactly sure, but I know that VC++6, VS2003 and VS2005 will all happily coexist, so it's very likely.
yes, they can coexist. I can't locate the faq on ms's site that addresses this unfortunately or i'd link to it for you.

I've got the C++ Express editions for both 2005 and 2008 installed on my computer at the moment, and they both work fine.
IIRC, its VS 6.0 and below which conflict with each other.

VS2003, 2005 and 2008 will all happily co-exist along with a one of the previous versions up to and including 6.0.

I think this is the ability of Global Assembly Cache .
