Help! Directx Error
I have another problem now though(seems I'm always having Problems). I have an include file from the directx sdk 2007 that I used and it won't let me compile because it says it can't find the file directory or something. Please help!
The header was d3dx9.h, but I was able to load all the other headers except this one. It is in the SDK, but it won't load it!
If you have installed the DXSDK then you usually have to add the Include path to your IDE so it knows where to look. So say my Include path was "C:\DXSDK\Include",
then in Visual C++ 2005 Express Edition I would go to Tools>Options>Project Solutions>VC++ Directories then select Include files under the 'Show directories for' drop-down box, then add the path there. You will also need to do the same for Lib and Exe files. You'll find the directories in your DXSDK again.
