Hi everyone I'm new to mobile game development, and I just want to know how should I start, what's the easiest way, I've heard of J2ME, how can I get it, is there any other way? something like flash, or even DirectX (I really love coding with DX), please help me, how can I get the basic tools I need to start making mobile games, even simple Java-based games. thanks

Although there are other ways, Symbian, BREW, other random SDKs, J2ME is probably your easiest bet. This is available from Sun. Then you'll probably want to get a good book. I can't really help you on that as I haven't read many but I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find one on Amazon or maybe even the reviews here.
