hi! I am searching some pictures which illustrate how DirectX works by using matrices and vectors, triangles and so on. E.g. two pictures which show that a ball built with few triangles looks square and a ball built with more triangles looks like this http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/Bb147291.sphere3d(en-us,VS.85).gif Or a good picture which shows how illuminating works...

We'll dont know if itll be any help but I was just working on building a sphere in
opengl, directx will build it in a similar fashion. Thats 60x72 which makes 8,640 triangles.
