[C#] Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3D.Font.DrawText

How can I make the text drawn onto the screen transparent with this function? If it matters, I have a sprite ready to use if that is what I need to use to create transparency. Thanks.

Specify the color used with alpha value less than 255. For example:
drawingFont.DrawText(2, 1, Color.FromArgb(100, System.Drawing.Color.Black), "Text");
