Hello, I have a question about modern terrain engines and geomipmapping. I have read the article by Willem de Boer located at: http://www.daimi.au.dk/~rip/cg04/GeoMipMapping.pdf but have a simple question. I like the article and the algorithm seems solid but in short am just not sure if the techniques discussed are still applicable to modern 3d terrain engines. The article was released in October 2000 so it is pretty old. Thank you for your help. Jeremy (grill8)
