Creating and writting to GraphicsStream.

Hello, I am trying to create a GraphicsStream, write data to it and set effect variable: Effect effect = ...; MyMatrix mat = MyMatrix.Identity; GraphicsStream gs = new GraphicsStream( new IntPtr(), Marshal.SizeOf(mat), new IntPtr()); gs.Write(mat); // here i have an exception "Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object." effect.SetValue(lVars.Handle, gs); What I am doing not right?
