[MDX] EffectPool and other Effect operations...

[MDX] Is there any good resources on EffectPool usage? I'm looking for a tut or guide or something. I googled but didn't turn anything up. Seems like slim pickens when it comes to DirectX Info that's off the mainstream.

You may have already considered this, but you might try SlimDX, as it seems like quite a few people around here are using it instead of managed DX, plus the author(s) are all moderators here I think. And from what it sounds like, MDX isn't being worked on anymore, so the documentation isn't going to be getting any better. I haven't actually used it myself though, so I can't speak to whether it exposes EffectPools or not...

Yes I want to switch to SlimDX but was thinking about waiting till I move to DX10 so that I don't create a bunch of extra work for myself.
