The publisher might give you a replacement CD for the book if you ask them nicely. You'll probably have to send in your broken CD and/or proof of purchase, which I assume you have given that you have the original book, right? [wink]

Typical licencing for sample code on book CD's is not to allow redistribution. That would mean anyone sending you the code would be breaking that agreement, which is not tolerated by the GameDev.Net rules.
