CaptureTex9 and VisualC++ 2008?

Hello All. I've been adapting the old CaptureTex9 sample from the DX SDK to write various things for a while. I understand that it was not compatible with C++ 2005 so I stuck with C++ 2003. No probelms there... I am now using Windows Vista on one machine and find that it is not compatible with C++ 2003. It seems to run but crashes when using the "find in flies" function. Has anyone tried C++ 2008 with the CaptureTex9 sample? Will I have to go back to the drawing board and investigate VMR? Or something else? Thanks in advance for any advice you might be able to offer. twomags.
