Is it technically possible to install a Mac OS (either OS X or Leopard) on PC Hardware (by which I mean hardware which came preinstalled with Windows, which has since been removed) without using some form of emulation? And just in case, I'm not trying to start a holy war, I don't want to hear "why would you do that?" or "just buy a mac", I just want to know if it is TECHNICALLY possible. Thank you.

Yes, I believe it was done within 24 hours of the latest Mac OS release.
Google tells me that the hack is called "OSx86" and is available thru the usual P2P channels...

Be very careful, however, that you don't go admitting that you violated the License for OS X, which I believe restricts you to the hardware your copy came with. Buy a separate copy.
