Completely n00b
So I am a complete n00b at game making, although I understand basic code.
I was just wondering what would be the best language to start making basic games such as pong and stuff like that, and then even into RPG games.

But yes, people pretty much agree that Python is a good beginner language. Its simple and syntaxically not far from other languages such as C/C++/C#/Java.
