Hey This might be a silly question to all game developers,but since I am a newbie to openGL I am finding a lot of difficulties in getting the coordinae system. I have declared in my main: glutInitWindowSize(1024,768); and I only want to draw a point is (0,0,0) is at the leftmost corner of the screen or the rightmost ? what if I want to make the program interactive (to ask the user to tell where the point must be drawn)? and how would I know that the user has given the input which lies inside the window? OK I have discovered that the statement(glutInitWindowSize(1024,768);) is unneccessary.But still a window ofcourse pops off even without that statement. AM I correct?

glutInitWindowSize(1024,768);
doesnt do anything WRT coordinates syetems + where things are drawn it just creates a window of that size

with default values (0,0,0) will be in the center of the screen
