C++ knows nothing about any sort of GUI, so you need to be much more specific. Are you wanting a button from your OS or are you using a graphics library to draw it yourself?

actually i wanna make a button on a openGl window.
os on which iam working: windows xp

Can you be more specific about what part you are finding hard? At the moment it sounds like you are wanting some code just given to you?

no i dont wanna direct code, want just guidance

i just dont know from where to start to make a button on a opengl window which
when pressed by user leads to another event

guidance wanted , anyways direct codes will be welcomed too
