Wanted code for converting XYZ coordinates to RGB for writing a TGA file

I am actually looking at the problem which deals with the convertion of the contents in a JT file to a TGA file. The code we have for reading the JT file gives us the coordinates in XYZ and the shapes of the 3D surfaces in it. This XYZ coordinates have to be the input for writing the TGA file to get the 3D surfaces in it. But the TGA file accepts the input as the RGB. So i what some code which actually converts this XYZ coordinates into RGB.
