Is there a way to have function/method call coloring in vs200x for c/c++. I use slickedit at the mines but didn't want to spend the pennies at home if i can patch up VS. Is visual assist the only alternative for this simple feature? Thanks, prof quack

No problem Crypter, it's looks like most editors in that post don't have color for function calls. I was referring to something like void foo(); where everytime you call foo() in code it is colored green or some other color. Visual studio doesn't seem to distinguish between normal text and function calls in the IDE, they are considered "Plain Text" in the tool->fonts and colors menu.

As you said Visual Assist do the job pretty well... it's not free but you can use the trial version...
