I am making a text editor. How to enable textBox to display Asian characters(Korea, Japanese, Chinese, Thailand, etc.)? So if I load a text file with those Asian characters, the textBox must be able to display them well. Mine is messy. For input, there is no problem. It works well. But the problem is when I load it. Thank you very much.

How are you loading the text? You must make sure you are loading it using Unicode format (System.Text.Encoding.Unicode).

I use like this:

textBox1->Text = System::IO::File::ReadAllText(openFileDialog1->FileName);

That's it.

How to use the System.Text.Encoding.Unicode?

Thank you very much.

I've tried it but it did not work when I load a file containing Japanese Kanji and Hiragana.

Any other way? I also have tried the UTF8 but the result was the same.

Thank you very much..
