Heyas Folks, once again I rely on your help this time concerning the usage of a UDP port. I am trying to send a UDP package out of an ancient AIX-Unix computer. For some reason I can only send 337 Bytes at a time. Any larger package size gets cut off and I dont know why. Does anyone of you have an idea what might be going wrong? On a windows computer the same UDP port initialisation works perfectly. Thx for any hint/link advice ANYTHING! i am desperate ;) Best regards Woltan

If you check ifconfig on that machine, what is the MSS of the network interface?
If you do "man udp" on that machine, what does it say about UDP limitations?
Can you change the SO_SNDBUF and SO_RCVBUF sizes and see if it changes things?
