Texture Projection

Well I've been attempting this but can;t get started. I haven't found anything that I could understand about it when searching so I was wondering if you could explain it roughly to me or point me to an easy tutorial. Quick code example would also be great!

Thanks for the reply. I did find something on extensions (which is actually another things I've been looking for) but I couldn't find anything on texture projection. As said before, I'm pretty confused by it all. A tutorial or quick code example would be great if possible but anything at all is great!

I don't mean to sound snarky, but did you try Googling "texture projection"? The first link at least superficially appears to be what you are asking for.
